Getting to work can be simple and rewarding

Commuting to work each day can be expensive. A commuter benefit program can help employees save money on commuting costs and offers the convenience of home delivery of orders.
Commuter benefit plans help reduce commuting costs by allowing employees to pay for eligible expenses with pre-tax dollars. Employees can set aside up to $540 each month ($270 for transit and $270 for parking) toward eligible commuter expenses.

  • HealthEquity® Commuter Card
    Employees can use this card just like a debit card wherever they pay for transit and parking. Just swipe and go. Additionally, employees decide how much money to load onto their cards, which is available for use on the same day as the payroll cycle.
  • Smart Cards
    HealthEquity Commuter Account contributions are loaded directly onto transit agency smart cards where available.
  • Buy My Pass
    Employees identify which transit agency or vanpool provider to buy from, and have the pass delivered to their home.
  • Pay My Provider
    Employees can access their accounts online and fill out a simple form to pay transit agencies or parking providers without receipts or claims forms.
  • Pay Me Back
    Commuter funds can be deposited directly to a checking account. A check may also be mailed to reimburse the individual for expenses. Certain conditions apply.
